Channel Vision, a manufacturer of technology products for the connected home, announced its affiliation with the automation and control platform, iRule. iRule is an innovative app that works with A/V dealers, enterprise clients and do-it-yourself consumers to deliver convenient control and a user-friendly automation platform for technology that supports IR, serial RS-232 and IP control, the companies described.

With the iRule platform, Channel Vision’s four-source, six-zone amplified A/V controller (A4623) syncs to the iRule application to allow remote control from a personalized display screen. The app’s graphics, buttons and device commands can be customized and saved to a cloud-based server. Named CES 2014 Control Product of the Year, the iRule app runs on iOS and Android devices and controls audio/video, lights, shades and more.
