Johnson Controls announced that for the fifth consecutive year it will sponsor and participate in the Massachusetts Conference for Women on Dec. 6 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The event will feature Kristy Dunchak, senior director of product management for converged solutions, building technologies & solutions for Johnson Controls, as a panelist discussing how turning your personal mission into your purpose at work can have lasting effects in your life and the world around you. During the show, the Johnson Controls booth will also feature presentations by employees who will discuss the importance of women in technology.

In the session titled “Authentic Activism: Creating Change from 9-to-5 . . . and Beyond,” Dunchak will share her personal journey on the road to a life of meaning — personally and professionally.

The 14th annual Massachusetts Conference for Women is a one-day event that brings together 10,000 active professional women from across the world to promote, communicate and amplify the influence of women in the workplace and beyond, through nationally recognized speakers, workshops and seminars. One of this year’s keynote speakers is Amal Clooney, a British human rights lawyer practicing at Doughty Street Chambers in London, where she specializes in international law and human rights.
