Many are intrigued with some of the changes that have been introduced and adopted toward consistent services through the COVID-19 pandemic — everything from changes to business logistics to actually augmenting UL standards to accommodate work-from-home (WFH) staffing.

Central station redundancy and its significance is essential to understand. A select group have maintained redundancy over the years, although UL hasn’t mandated redundancy until recently.

This year at TMA’s annual meeting in Napa Valley, I led a panel on telecommunication opportunities available through leveraging modern technologies while holding on and winding down older technologies to support legacy systems and communications.
