The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) announced that Ackerman Security Systems has received the CSAA “Five Diamond Certification.”

This Certification recognizes that 100 percent of their central station operators have achieved proficiency and certification by passing the CSAA Central Station On-Line Operator Training Course.  These courses cover virtually all phases of central station communications with customers, law enforcement, and fire and emergency services’ communications centers.  This critical area of communications is the link between residential or business properties and law enforcement, fire and emergency services in local areas.

“According to CSAA, there are over 2,700 central stations in the United States, and of this group fewer than 100 (less than 3 percent) central stations have achieved the ‘Five Diamond Certified’ status,” Jim Callahan, Chief Operating Officer, noted.

These Five Diamond companies have demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of responsibility to their local communities and their customers through the investment of time, money and commitment to 100 percent quality operator training, according to Celia Besore, CSAA vice president of marketing and programs.
