Gunnebo Entrance Control is expanding its North American presence with a new manufacturing facility in Duncan, S.C., reportedly more than doubling its production capacity and reinforcing its commitment to localized manufacturing and customer-focused solutions.
By bringing key manufacturing operations closer to its market, Gunnebo Entrance Control said it is enhancing its ability to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions with reduced lead times.
“As we continue to grow in North America, expanding our manufacturing capabilities locally is a crucial step,” said Mike Slauson, vice president, entrance control North America, Gunnebo Entrance Control. “The new facility in Duncan allows us to scale production while improving delivery speed and optimising efficiencies for our customers.”
During 2025, the company will expand its manufacturing capability to include security doors, full-height turnstiles and retail gates in the U.S. This move strengthens supply chain resilience and supports the company’s mission to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of the North American market. By manufacturing key product lines domestically, the company is improving its ability to meet market demands with greater responsiveness and reliability.
“The opening of the Duncan facility is a pivotal step in our long-term strategy to support growth across North America and beyond,” added Slauson. “We remain committed to delivering advanced entrance control solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and accessibility for our customers.”
