Lenel Systems Int’l Inc. introduced the Prism Video Management System, an open IP video management system (VMS). Prism integrates with Lenel’s OnGuard for event-driven monitoring. Prism offers a single point-of-device configuration, event and alarm monitoring, and system administration in an integrated video and access deployment. The VMS is offered in three configurations: standard, professional and enterprise, and is available as a standalone VMS or as an integrator with OnGuard. It uses the same Lenel NVR recording platform as OnGuard Video Manager, which means OnGuard Video Manager customers can easily upgrade to Prism and retain complete video data continuity.
