The company also shared that Zonoff’s developer platform is a key initiative in the company’s mission to become the common platform that enables all wireless standards to communicate with each other. Those brands that leverage the Open Device SDK will enable a seamless consumer experience that combines Zonoff’s best-in-class software platform with a brand consistent user interface, Zonoff explained in a press release.
“The Internet of Things has already reached the mass market, as consumers understand and covet the wide range of innovative solutions available to automate the home,” said Mike Harris, Zonoff CEO. “Whether consumers are looking for trusted brands to deliver high quality and robust solutions or innovative new participants, our Open Device SDK enables brands to leverage their current investments and technology to make the Internet of Things come alive in the home.”
The SDK provides device manufacturers with access to the software tools needed to integrate their differentiated technology directly into Zonoff’s Connected Home Platform, while still participating in the customer experience and maintaining the security of their own intellectual capital.
