Honeywell announced the Smart Wireless Integrated Fire Technology (SWIFT) detectors and modules, capable of seamlessly integrating with new and existing fire alarm systems from Fire-Lite Alarms, Gamewell-FCI and NOTIFIER. Using a Class A, mesh network where every device acts as a repeater with redundant path communication, SWIFT systems are robust and self-healing. The devices are UL listed in compliance with UL 268, UL 864 and part 15 of the FCC rules. The initial launch of SWIFT devices will include photoelectric, photo/thermal, standard heat and rate-of-rise heat detectors, plus a monitor module.
