CGL Electronic Security Inc. announced it has moved its corporate headquarters to Westwood, Mass., to a larger, state-of-the-art facility complete with a customer training area, demonstration space, large warehouse and in-house fabrication/testing area.
The 15,000 sq.-ft. facility features a training facility that will be primarily used to welcome customers to train and certify them on the access control and video technologies installed at their facilities. In addition, the larger facility provides ample room for CGL Electronic Security’s expanded fabrication department where technicians can build and configure security equipment in-house and test products before the equipment is installed at the customer’s location.
“CGL Electronic Security Inc.’s staging department was created to save customers both time and money on their projects,” said Ron Ludvigsen, president and founder of CGL Electronic Security. “We can seamlessly configure products and test them to ensure systems are working properly before we implement them at our customer’s site.”
CGL Electronic Security relocated from Norwood, Mass., where it had been located for the past 10 years. Today the company has 48 employees and expects to continue to grow, thanks to the creation of a new president of national accounts position and the implementation of a new ERP system to provide more in-depth service tracking and delivery tools.
As part of its expansion, CGL Electronic Security also created a Software Support Team, which is a team of experts that help clients solve technical problems remotely by using diagnostic tools and providing high-level network support. The group allows CGL to keep up to date with the latest technology and also adapt to the constantly evolving Information Technology space.
CGL Electronic Security held an open house at its new facility on October 5. Its office is located at 35 Southwest Park, Westwood, Mass.
