Dahua Technology USA’s new line of 5MP Starlight cameras with integrated IR combines a low-light sensor, a large aperture lens and identification-level (dependent on distance) images in low-light conditions. The new N51 Series and vari-focal N52 network cameras are available in dome, eyeball and bullet form factors and have an outdoor-rated IP67 enclosure plus a low-temperature rating for cold climates (minimum operating temperature of -22 deg. F). These cameras offer Dahua’s new HTTPS function, which verifies encrypted connections from the camera to the Web browser for a more secure environment. Additionally, a new online functionality provides automated notifications regarding firmware upgrades to aid in minimizing any lag time between firmware updates to user notification. They also offer built-in video analytics as standard, including tripwire and intrusion features.
