Convergint, a service-based systems integrator, announced it has acquired Dramis Communications Solutions Ltd., a Canadian telecommunications and networking reseller offering security, VOIP, and unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solutions. 

Ares Management Corporation and Convergint Technologies announced that Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and funds managed by Harvest Partners, LP have purchased equity in Convergint from a fund managed by Ares’ Private Equity Group and other existing shareholders. 

This acquisition follows several growth initiatives for Convergint across the European market, bolstering its global footprint, deepening vertical market expertise, and enabling the company to meet increased demand across several markets.

This acquisition expands Convergint’s footprint across the Southeast and Central regions of the United States.

As a result of this acquisition, Convergint will double its footprint across Germany and establish an office in Frankfurt.

BriefCam’s software platform is now in place at the National Mall as part of a $3.3+ million technology donation led by Convergint Technologies. 

The Monitoring Association (TMA) announced that systems integrator Convergint Technologies of Renton, Wash., became the 50th FirstNet-certified company.
