Mission 500 recently hosted a service trip in Ponce, Puerto Rico where volunteers from the professional security industry worked on repairing the homes of two families still suffering from the effects of hurricane Maria in October of 2017.
Mission 500, a charitable non-profit organization engaging security professionals to raise money for children in need across the USA, has announced the winners of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Humanitarian awards.
Building on the success of the previous eight years, the Mission 500 Security 5K/2K run/walk will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, with proceeds from the fundraiser to help children in need across the United States.
At yesterday’s Security 5K/2K awards ceremony, Mission 500 presented NorthStar Alarm Services with its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award and honored Jay Gotra, CEO of Alliance Security, with its Humanitarian Award.

At SIA Honors Night, a slide show and speech was delivered by Alan Forman, president and CEO, Altronix and advisory board member of Mission 500, who highlighted some milestones since this organization was launched in the security industry in 2007.
