In his role as chairman of the Security Industry Association (SIA), Scott Schafer, principal/CEO at SMS Advisors LLC, welcomed security industry luminaries to the annual meeting of SIA membership on the first day of ISC West 2019 on Tuesday. Schafer addressed SIA members at the meeting, which is known as The Advance, to recognize significant achievements by industry leaders and to highlight key accomplishments made by SIA during 2018.

This afternoon, they’ll learn if their hard work paid off when the winners of the 40th annual New Product Showcase are announced at 3:30 pm on the ISC West Main Stage.
