With several new members, the RISE Steering Committee, under the leadership of Kelly Ann Christensen, the new chair, and Joey Joy, vice chair, guides the SIA RISE community in fostering the careers of emerging security industry leaders.
Twenty-three security industry professionals will receive $3,000 scholarships to be used toward continuing education, repayment of student loan debt and professional development.
Awardees will receive a $3,000 scholarship to use toward continuing education and professional development courses, SIA program offerings and/or other academic or education programs.
The award program, presented by SIA’s RISE community, recognizes 25 new and emerging leaders each year for their impact in advancing the security industry.
Applying for the SIA RISE Scholarship is open to SIA student members and employees of SIA member companies in North America who are part of the SIA RISE community.
In their new roles, they will deliver educational content and networking opportunities to young professional employees and rising stars at SIA member companies, college students and recent graduates interested in the global security industry.
