HID Global has settled patent-infringement lawsuits against Apollo Security, Applied Wireless IDentifications Group (AWID) Inc., and Secura Key.

Secura Key, Chatsworth, Calif. recently published its new e*Tag Card Capabilities Guide. This guide presents all of the available credential options, so that the customer can select the credential that is exactly suited to their application.

With the recent notification by HID® Global Corp. to its customers, that it would be obsolescing its Wiegand card and reader line as of January 31, 2013 (except for some iCLASS®/Wiegand transition cards, which will be offered through March 31, 2013), Secura Key, Chatsworth Calif., made the announcement that it has been and continues to be a reliable and trusted manufacturing resource for many types of access control cards. Secura Key stated that it is the only resource for Wiegand Cards to the industry.
