A few years ago, United Parcel Service ran a series of TV commercials with the slogan, “What Can Brown Do for You?” In the annals of advertising, this campaign probably won’t go down as one of the most memorable or exciting.
In my last blog, I introduced a partnership BNP Media forged with BirdDog Jobs, a career center specializing in the skilled trades. Today, we’re pleased to announce another partnership. BNP Media is joining forces with Mike Rowe Works Trades Hub, a new portal Web site dedicated to the advancement of the skilled trades and to helping trades people excel at their jobs.
A new resource is SDM’s BirdDog Career Center, to help you find your next visionary. Planning for this month’s cover story about game changers got me thinking about what a game changer means to me and how I’ve experienced them both personally and professionally. In my adult life, having children and becoming a mother was the most obvious game changer… all previous priorities seem trivial compared to being responsible for a young person’s life.
