The Cumberland County and Fayetteville, North Carolina Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) are the latest agencies to implement Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP), technology that automates communication between alarm monitoring central stations and PSAPs/911 centers, resulting in faster, more accurate emergency responses for users of monitored alarms.

With the 20th anniversary of the inception of Vector Security’s National Accounts Division approaching, the division commemorated this milestone with a move into a new, greatly expanded National Service Center located in Northern Virginia. Pittsburgh-based Vector Security Inc. today announced the completion of a new credit facility valued at $225 million, which includes $75 million in new financing, to help fuel the company’s future growth.
