It was announced in a virtual press conference yesterday, June 23, that Panasonic Security, Public Safety and Medical Imaging are spinning off as i-PRO to reflect a “significant change in philosophy relative to the company’s go-to-market strategies, product and integrated system offerings and reseller and technology partnerships.”
Raytheon Technologies Corporation announced on Friday, April 3, that the all-stock merger between the company and United Technologies Corporation (UTC) has been completed. This merger follows the completion of the spin-offs of UTC’s Carrier and Otis businesses. UTC first announced its intention to separate its commercial businesses into independent entities in Nov. 26, 2018.
Ingersoll-Rand's board of directors unanimously approved a plan to spin off its commercial and residential security products businesses, which will be combined to form a new global company.
