Property crime rates decreased by 6.3 percent last year, marking the 16th consecutive year of declining numbers, according to the FBI’s 2018 Uniform Crime Report.
The FBI has released the 2015 edition of its annual report Crime in the United States. Highlights of the report include a 2.6 percent drop in property crimes (the 13th straight year of decline in this area) and a 3.9 percent increase in violent crime in 2015.
