Security Door Controls’ (SDC) IP Pro IP-based single door access controller is available with Plus PC client software to allow low-power expansion from standalone door access control management up to a 100-door “grid,” all managed and controlled with a single PC. Unlike an enterprise system requiring licensing and software to connect an organization’s every computer (and associated devices) at every location, the grid is a simple connection of up to 100 doors. Because IP-based access control is low-power, the more doors added to the system, the more energy saved versus traditional 24-Volt solutions.
