Convergint: DC Safety Project
Convergint gets the top spot for the largest projected in this year's Top Systems Integrators Report. Convergint, along with 11 industry partners, donated and deployed the technology infrastructure necessary to improve safety at the National Mall and surrounding historical monuments, which experiences more than 35 million visits annually. The donation from Convergint and its partners enhances and expands security coverage, upgrades technology from legacy systems, and allows the National Park Service to use real-time information and communication technologies to respond to issues quickly. Phase one of the project included the enhancement of a centralized monitoring center, intercom stations, public address capabilities and upgrading from analog to IP-based cameras. Phase two will further extend situational awareness at various monuments by adding additional IP-based cameras back to their headquarters.

How to Use the 2021 TSI Tables
The main table (select below), ranks 100 companies by their North American systems integration revenue as of December 31, 2020. The company with the highest integration revenue is ranked as No. 1, and so on. For each of the 100 companies, the following information is provided, from left to right:
- current year rank, which is based on Dec. 31, 2020 North American Systems Integration Revenue;
- prior year rank;
- company name, as used in the marketplace, and headquarters location;
- North American systems integration revenue as of December 31, 2020;
- number of new projects as of Dec. 31, 2020;
- largest project size;
- smallest project size;
- top three markets contributing to revenue;
- number of full-time employees; and
- number of business locations, including headquarters.
TSI 2020 companies are then re-ranked by several other criteria, including largest project by revenue; and top 25 by RMR.
