The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the speaker line-up for Securing New Ground (SNG), the organization’s executive conference for security professionals, taking place on Oct. 28 in a virtual format.

Founded more than 20 years ago, Securing New Ground has become the “TED of security.” Today, SNG is a security business conference focused on strategists, technologists and executive leadership.

Speakers include Pierre Trapanese, CEO of Northland Control and chair of the SIA Board of Directors; Matt Barnette, CEO, PSA Security Network; Tom Cook, executive vice president of sales and operations, Hanwha Techwin America; Chris Meiter, president, Salient Systems; Luis Orbegoso, senior vice president and president, Americas, Allegion; Steve Jones, CEO, Allied Universal; and more. 

Sessions cover cybersecurity, the supply chain, healthcare, the cloud, AI, smart buildings, and mergers and acquisitions within the industry.  

SNG attendees will receive a copy of the 2022 SIA Security Megatrends following its publication in early December. Additionally, SIA offers complimentary CSO and security director registration.
