The Security Industry Association (SIA) announced that Nasdaq Chief Economist Phil Mackintosh will deliver remarks on current business conditions and economic indicators on the second day of Security New Ground (SNG). 

Mackintosh has more than 30 years of experience in the finance industry. He and his team at the stock exchange are responsible for a variety of projects and initiatives in the U.S. and Europe to improve market structure, encourage capital formation and enhance trading efficiency. 

Prior to joining Nasdaq, Mackintosh was the head of trading strategy & analysis at KCG/Virtu Financial. He has also served as the global head of trading strategy at Credit Suisse and the head of index portfolios at County Investment Management. He started his career at KPMG and is also a chartered accountant. 

SNG, a conference for security industry executives, will be held Oct. 18-19 at the Intercontinental Times Square in New York City. 

This year’s SNG conference will shape industry trends and offer opportunities to engage with the leaders who are driving the future of security, according SIA.
