Rep Firm LRG Announces Change of Ownership

Chris Lanier founded Jasper, Texas-based LRG in 2001.
Electronic security factory rep firm LRG, one of the largest rep firms in the United States, announced that company veterans John Swinford and Kenny Hilton purchased the organization from Chris Lanier for undisclosed terms.
The transaction became effective March 13.
A long-time industry veteran, Lanier founded Jasper, Texas-based LRG in 2001. LRG covers 16 Central U.S. states for many of the industry’s top tier manufacturers of intrusion, video surveillance, fire alarm, audio and networking solutions.
Lanier will be retained for the next year assisting with the transition and leading new vendor and business development initiatives.
“This move is by design and with the right people for the future of the company,” Lanier said. “LRG has worked hard to service our customers and the supply chain with an ongoing sense of sales urgency. We are very appreciative of our partnerships and friendships in the industry.”
New CEO Swinford and CFO Hilton combine for over 23 years of LRG experience as regional sales managers and are joined by Conrad Hartwig, who continues his role as vice president of sales for the organization.
