ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions – Critical Infrastructure (AAGS-CI) announced the hiring of Tom Faith as the new vertical market manager, utilities and telecommunications. A 30-year industry veteran who has served in several security sales and management capacities, he is based in Wayne, Pa., and reports to Jerry Burhans, managing director.

Faith most recently was a regional sales manager for the access control division of PDC IDenticard, a Brady Corp. business. He successfully grew sales within the education, healthcare and government markets through an extensive network of system integrators in the Mid-Atlantic region.

“I gained a solid understanding of how to engage and partner with the system integrator channel to deliver the most value to them and their customers,” said Faith. “Striving to become a trusted advisor and being responsive to customer needs opens many opportunities to grow business relationships. It has been very rewarding to work with organizations such as the VA Philadelphia Medical Center, Department of Environmental Protection, and New York Presbyterian Hospitals.

“Over the years I’ve learned to embrace being open to new opportunities,” continued Faith. “For me, listening versus talking is vital to gaining insights and the ability to help customers and others. I look forward to doing the same with AAGS-CI’s culture and building meaningful relationships with both internal and external customers. I plan to expand our growth across the utility vertical market by teaming with all stakeholders.”
