Per Mar Security Services Honored as 2023 Business of the Year

Per Mar Security Services, a provider of total security solutions for residential and commercial clients, was honored as Business of the Year at the 2023 Quad Cities Chamber Annual Meeting on August 10, 2023. Brian Duffy, CEO, along with a number of longtime employees, accepted this award.
Per Mar has been headquartered in Davenport, Iowa for nearly 70 years. Starting in the living room of John and Eleanor Duffy in 1953 and growing to 25 branch locations throughout the Midwest. The company has been particularly active in their hometown area, supporting a number of non-profit organizations with employees volunteering regularly in the community.
Brian Duffy expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We are truly honored to receive the Business of the Year award from the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team, who consistently go above and beyond to provide top-tier security solutions to our clients. We are deeply committed to the safety and well-being of the Quad Cities community.”
Per Mar was specifically recognized by the Quad Cities Chamber for a commitment to growth and providing first-class customer service. The announcement states, “Over the decades, Per Mar has grown organically and through acquisitions, evolving their offerings and becoming one of the only one-stop-shops for security services in the Midwest. This growth has helped them to become one of the largest companies in the United States in three areas: security officer services, electronic security services and fire alarm services.”
