Minuteman Security Technologies, a national provider of enterprise security technology solutions, announced the acquisition of Strategic Security Solutions (S3) of Raleigh, N.C.

With the acquisition of S3, a systems integrator with four locations in N.C, Virginia and Pennsylvania, Minuteman says it becomes the largest Eastern U.S. super regional independent full-service provider of integrated security, communication, and life safety systems. Combined, the company operates 20 office locations from Florida to Maine, and as far west as Chicago, and globally through its program management office (PMO).

The combination was effective Sept. 29, 2023.

S3 has been providing enterprise security technology solutions for over 20 years under the leadership of Jay Slaughterbeck, CEO and Ron Oetjen, president. S3 employs over 50 team members across four facilities in Raleigh, Lynchburg, Richmond and Pittsburgh, as well as an established PMO offering managed security solutions globally.

Slaughterbeck and Oetjen will continue to manage their S3 operations and customer relationships while expanding their responsibilities across the combined entity with a focus on continuing to provide current customers and supply partners exceptional service and support from their preeminent team of technicians, according to the announcement.
