i-PRO Co. has appointed Gerard Figols as the company’s chief product officer (CPO). With a career spanning over 17 years in the physical security industry, i-PRO said Figols brings a wealth of global experience and strategic vision to his new role.

In his most recent position as president of i-PRO EMEA and i-PRO APAC, Figols demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving the company's growth and success in these markets, according to the announcement. Leveraging his extensive experience in engineering, marketing, and sales, Figols has been instrumental in shaping i-PRO’s presence in the security industry, the announcement continued.

As CPO, Figols will reportedly be tasked with spearheading i-PRO’s global product strategy.

 In a related announcement, i-PRO has appointed Jose Riolobos as Figols’ successor to the role of president of i-PRO EMEA. For several years, Riolobos held senior positions within i-PRO and, previously, Panasonic in Europe and Japan.
