FLIR Monocular Effective in Urban & Rural Environments

FLIR unveiled the Scout Pro, a handheld thermal monocular for law enforcement and public safety surveillance, including police, sheriff, SWAT, fire, search and rescue, and border protection agents. Engineered with direct input from law enforcement professionals, the Scout Pro combines an expansive 32-degree field of view with detection capabilities. Officers can now spot individuals at distances up to 500 meters (1,640 feet) while maintaining superior situational awareness across the entire field of vision. This makes the Scout Pro equally effective in crowded urban settings and vast rural environments.
