ASIS International has announced its programming lineup for Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2025.

The event will include both an in-person experience and a digital experience that take place Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans and via the online GSX event platform. The event’s keynote speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

“It has been an honor leading this year’s selection committee and we are excited to present another year of world-class security education sessions at GSX 2025,” said Alejandro Liberman, corporate security professional, ASIS. “I am especially grateful to my fellow committee volunteers, who have dedicated their time, effort, and expertise over these past months to the rigorous review process to guarantee the best possible education lineup. Together, we have curated over 200 sessions that discuss the leading issues in the security space and aim to create value for all participants. I look forward to connecting with you in New Orleans.”

The GSX session lineup encompasses 200+ sessions tackling vital issues in the security profession, including in-depth looks at timely issues within the following focus areas: crime, digital transformation, information security, law and ethics, managing organizations, national security, physical and operational security, professional development, and risk management.

“GSX serves as the essential catalyst where global security leaders unite to shape our industry's future,” said Joe Olivarez Jr., MBA, president, ASIS. “This transformative experience combines world-class education with groundbreaking technology showcases, creating an environment where critical connections are forged, and strategic insights are exchanged. Whether in-person or through our digital platforms, GSX empowers professionals to elevate their expertise, expand their influence, and address tomorrow's security challenges with confidence and vision.”

Each day of the conference will feature an advanced-level Game Changer session designed to explore trends that will shape the security industry’s future. Monday’s session is titled “When High-Profile Means Danger: Protecting Executives from Public Threats,” Tuesday’s session is “Risk is Everywhere: Fostering Safety in the Workplace, Schools, and Public Spaces,” and “Resilience Amid Changing Conditions: Partnerships, Risk Transference, and New Patterns to Predict” will cap the game changer sessions on Wednesday.

In addition to the conference’s primary programming, GSX 2025 will feature multiple pre-conference events on Saturday and Sunday, including two-day workshops on facility security design and executive presence, Associate Protection Professional (APP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification reviews, and Secure Horizons: An Immersive Experience for Senior Security Executives. Saturday will also feature a workshop on ESRM, and Sunday’s programming will include workshops on crime prevention, ASIS Volunteers’ Day, and the ASIS Awards of Excellence and the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).
