Ai-RGUS Expands Platform Capabilities with Network Device Monitoring

Ai-RGUS, a provider of AI-powered security monitoring solutions, expanded its platform capabilities beyond traditional surveillance equipment. The enhanced Ai-RGUS platform now supports monitoring of network devices including access control systems, network speakers, intercoms, routers, smart plugs, power supplies, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices.
In addition to using artificial intelligence to ensure that security cameras are live, recording, and producing a clear and correct image, Ai-RGUS now provides manufacturer-specific integrations that deliver detailed status information, such as detecting doors held open too long or identifying unauthorized access control activity. For network infrastructure, the system manages alerts by recognizing when a switch or router failure affects downstream devices, preventing alert floods when multiple connected devices go offline simultaneously.
“This expansion represents a fundamental shift in how organizations can monitor their entire technology ecosystem from a single platform,” said Joelle Grunblatt, chief operating officer, Ai-RGUS. “Instead of managing separate monitoring systems for cameras, access control, and network infrastructure, our customers can now oversee their complete security and network environment through one unified interface.”
The platform enhancement includes strategic partnerships with technology manufacturers:
- Access Control Systems: Avigilon Alta; Brivo; Genetec; PDK; Verkada
- Audio Communications: Avigilon Alta (Ava Aware) speakers; Axis network speakers; Commend intercoms; Hanwha intercoms; Zenitel intercoms
- Network Infrastructure: Routers and switches; smart plugs and power supplies; PoE-enabled devices with remote reboot capabilities
Alongside the device expansion, Ai-RGUS has introduced several platform improvements:
- Upgraded Dashboard Tables: Enhanced filtering and sorting capabilities now appear throughout the dashboard, system manager, and reporting sections. Users can now manage devices, health templates, and notification templates for all sub-accounts directly from their main account.
- New Reporting Capabilities: Three new report types based on integrators’ feedback:
- Clients Report: Provides overviews of client accounts including creation dates and device counts.
- Mute Activity Report: Delivers audit trails tracking device muting activities.
- Connector Status Report: Shows real-time status of hybrid camera connectors
The update also includes i-Pro camera integration, expanded OpenEye support for partner portal users, enhanced cybersecurity features including mandatory multi-factor authentication options, centralized security settings management across sub-accounts, and new license management capabilities that allow users to disable cameras, devices, and system elements directly from the system overview.
