SONITROL, a company in verified electronic security, and PACOM, a specialist in scalable security and business management systems, announced an of PowerG wireless sensor technology. This integration brings professional-grade wireless security to the SONITROL CORE and PACOM VIGIL CORE unified platforms, and is aimed at making the security installation of sensors faster, more flexible, and more reliable.
This new offering combines PowerG’s long-range, battery-efficient sensors with SONITROL’s patented, verified audio and video intrusion detection and PACOM’s security and business management. Dealers and installers now have a solution designed to eliminate complex wiring, cuts installation time and cost, and adapt to challenging and multi-site environments.
The PowerG range delivers up to 1.24 miles of encrypted, frequency-hopping communication. Its adaptive power technology ensures battery life of up to eight years per device.
SONITROL and PACOM’s approved integrated wireless sensors include wireless door/window contacts, motion detectors, glass-break sensors, and panic buttons. All wireless sensors operate with a PowerG Host Transceiver and the proprietary CORE security panels, managed on a unified platform.
“By integrating PowerG wireless technology with SONITROL’s patented intrusion verification and PACOM’s unified management platform, we’re delivering a solution that’s not only secure but simple and adaptable, allowing our customers and partners to deploy enterprise-grade security without traditional limits,” said Julie Beach, vice president, SONITROL, PACOM North America, and customer support.
