Kwikset’s New Wi-Fi Deadbolt Enables Smart Residential Security
Kwikset announced the upcoming Kwikset Wi-Fi Smart Lock, designed exclusively for The Home Depot’s Hubspace Smart Home Platform. The new Wi-Fi deadbolt further expands the company’s connected lock portfolio and breadth of seamless smart home ecosystem integration.
The Kwikset Wi-Fi deadbolt makes it easy for homeowners to enable smart residential security. In addition to working with Hubspace, the smart lock will also allow you to control your lock from anywhere with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. It features adjustable LED backlighting. A simple, guided interactive installation can be completed with just a screwdriver. Up to 50 user codes can be programmed for the lock, including scheduled or one-time use codes.
The Hubspace platform is powered by Afero, the made-in-the-USA enterprise-grade secure IoT Platform, including banking-level encryption and rigorous identity management.
