Security 101 Closes 2025 & Opens 2026 With Two Acquisitions
Security 101, a national provider of commercial electronic security solutions, wrapped up 2025 with the acquisition of Electronic Security Concepts (ESC), a full-service systems integrator headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The acquisition strengthens Security 101’s presence in the Southwest and expands the organization’s capabilities across key verticals including government, critical infrastructure, healthcare and enterprise organizations and large multi-site businesses across the region. Joe Menke, Founder and President of ESC, will continue to lead the company as General Manager of ESC, a Security 101 company. His wife Renee Menke, who served as ESC’s Vice President, will support the transition and ongoing growth initiatives.
The acquisition aligns with Security 101’s strategy to expand into high growth regions and support customers who rely on consistent, high quality integration services across multiple states. ESC’s team, expertise and long-standing customer relationships strengthen Security 101’s ability to support government entities, enterprise organizations and critical infrastructure throughout the region.
Additionally, starting 2026 off strong, Security 101 announced the acquisition of True Security – East Bay LLC, a longtime Security 101 franchise, scaling operations across Northern California. The acquisition includes locations serving California: San Francisco, San Jose, San Mateo, Gilroy, and Sacramento.
With this acquisition, Security 101 deepens its ability to serve organizations across technology, life sciences, commercial real estate, logistics and other sectors that demand resilient, future-ready security systems.
