ESA’s Leadership Identification & Nomination Committee Invites Integrator & Associate Members to Submit Nominations

The Electronic Security Association (ESA) announced the commencement of the annual election process for the board of directors. The Leadership Identification & Nomination Committee (LINC) invites integrator and associate members of ESA in good standing, serving as voting representatives for their organizations, to participate in this process.
“Serving as an ESA Director is a mark of distinction across the industry,” said Kirk MacDowell, chairman, LINC. “Directors commit to advancing the interests of the entire industry — not their specific companies. Strong leadership is essential, and the LINC committee invites nominations for the 2026 board of directors.”
This year’s election focuses on filling the following positions for the board of directors:
- Integrator Director: Three (3) positions for two-year terms.
- Associate Member Director: One (1) position for a two-year term.
- National Company Director: One (1) position for two-year term
Qualified members interested in contributing to the association’s leadership are encouraged to submit their nominations, due by Feb. 5, 2026, via the application process.
The nominating committee will unveil qualified candidates on March 12, 2026. Subsequently, electronic ballots will be distributed on April 21, 2026, with completion required by May 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. (Central). Directors will be installed at the Annual Membership meeting, which will take place on June 1, 2026, at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Irving, TX. All elected candidates will take office July 1, 2026.
