Defined Marketing Marks Expansion of Leadership Team With Appointment of Hannah Livergood

Defined Marketing, a marketing agency serving the security industry, appointed Hannah Livergood as director of marketing, marking an expansion of the firm’s strategic leadership team.
Livergood brings more than a decade of experience across the security and technology sectors, with deep expertise in product marketing, channel strategy and integrated communications within complex B2B SaaS and physical security ecosystems. Throughout her career, she has led go-to-market initiatives spanning product launches, sales and partner enablement programs, competitive intelligence and positioning strategy. She is recognized for translating sophisticated technical platforms into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with dealers, integrators, monitoring centers and enterprise buyers alike.
“Hannah is someone I’ve had my eye on for quite some time,” said Janet Fenner, president, Defined Marketing. “Her ability to blend product depth with strategic storytelling is rare in our industry. She understands the channel, the technology and understands how to align teams around growth. As Defined continues to scale, bringing in a leader of Hannah’s caliber was a natural next step.”
Livergood’s appointment reflects Defined Marketing’s commitment to building a senior-level team to support clients across the evolving security landscape. Over the past year, the company has strategically expanded its leadership bench, including:
- JoAnne Murphy, vice president of marketing and strategy (appointed August 2025), who brings more than 20 years of brand-building and growth leadership experience from global consumer brands and now leads integrated strategy, positioning and campaign architecture across the agency’s portfolio.
- Tifany Dunn, project coordinator (appointed January 2026), who drives operational excellence and workflow structure, ensuring client initiatives move from strategy to execution with speed and precision.
“I’m excited to join Defined Marketing at this stage of growth,” Livergood said. “The agency has built a strong reputation for strategic clarity and execution within the security industry. I look forward to contributing to that momentum and helping our clients strengthen their positioning and go-to-market impact.”
