“The trip to Costa Del Sol was amazing,” said Ken Bradley of Rocky Mountain Alarm, Denver. “Networking with other dealers was very important for me, and all accommodations, tours, and meetings were informative and first-class. It was truly a trip of a lifetime that I will never forget.”

Such was the reaction of 340 security dealers, employees, and their families, who attended the 18th annual GE Interlogix dealer sales meeting in Costa del Sol, Spain, late last year. Attendees raved about the extraordinary destination, flawless weather, and luxurious accommodations at the Hotel Torrequebrada. Winning dealers met or exceeded their six-month sales quota to earn the spectacular getaway.

Of the companies that earned trips by selling GE Interlogix products:

  • 39 received the Winner’s Circle Award for meeting their contest quotas
  • 47 are Quota Busters for surpassing their quotas
  • 22 earned the prestigious President’s Club Award.

Dealer sales meeting attendees received marketing, sales, and product information from presentations by GE Interlogix vice president of strategic marketing, Duane Paulson; vice president of residential, Dave Mayne; and vice president of engineering, Jim Stevens. The guest speaker was Dave McCurdy, CEO of Electronic Industries Alliance and former chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee, who spoke on homeland security.
