Advantor Systems Corp., Orlando, announced that it has been awarded a contract to upgrade the security at all U.S. Air Force Reserve Command Facilities. Under the terms of the contract, Advantor will provide design, integration, installation, and sustainability services for each base to comply with the stringent priority level 1-3 non-nuclear standards.

The company will upgrade each intrusion detection and monitoring system to its ASN version 4.0 platform, one of only two systems certified by the U.S. Air Force for the protection of PL 1-4 resources, some of the nation’s most critical assets. The project will be conducted under a rapid deployment plan, with completion of the security upgrades to all 13 bases within 6 months.

Jeffrey Whirley, vice president of Advantor Systems, commenting on the contract said, “We are proud to play a key role in the war on terrorism by providing advanced security technologies to DoD and other government agencies throughout the world.”
