Transmobile Corp., Hollywood, Fla., is a mobile resource management and security business. One of the company’s key vertical markets is the security industry, and they are looking for resellers and dealers for their back-office software and tracking solutions, which allow users to manage and view their assets and facilities remotely. Transmobile signed on its first official security industry dealer to market the company’s offerings in October.

With 17 employees and many more contractors and integrators all over the world, the company is female- owned. Founded in 2003 by Sherry Canasi, president and chief executive officer, and Cathy Josey, chief operating officer, Transmobile integrates its back-office software with devices enlisting a variety of security tracking technologies: satellite, cellular and RFID technology.

An ideal marketing point for Transmobile and its products, sold under the brand name SealthTrak, is that they integrate with many different types of hardware. “We are constantly meeting with manufacturers to find out the latest and greatest products to integrate with our software,” says Mike Smith, vice president of the company.

This month, the company unveils multi-mode devices, which will allow companies to monitor their assets and personnel with a single device combining both cellular and satellite technologies. “There is a huge demand for multi-mode devices,” which are more mission-critical than a single transport device, says Canasi.
