The Systems Depot, a North Carolina-based distribution network, will carry Yazaki North America’s Y-Go structured wiring system in each of 10 markets throughout the East Coast and California.

“The Systems Depot provides great penetration in these markets, but this relationship also helps its customers,” declared Steve Noriega, sales manager for Yazaki North America’s Y-Go operations. “Y-Go is a unique product, unlike anything in the company’s current structured wiring lineup.”

The Y-Go product line is an installer-friendly structured wiring system developed specifically for the home and light commercial markets. Created in response to the need for customized distribution of telephone, data, security, audio and video services throughout homes and offices, the system has the capability to adapt with new technologies as they emerge. Its primary features are color-coded modules that are connected to the main panel via a convenient “plug-n-play” design.

The Systems Depot services the low-voltage market with an emphasis on customer service and education. In select markets, The Systems Depot offers its Depot Express delivery system, which has been called a “traveling product showroom.”

“As a distributor, we’re responsible for maintaining a close relationship with both the supplier and the customer,” explained Randy Hall, president of The Systems Depot. “Part of that responsibility involves identifying not only high-quality products, but also partnering with suppliers whose products satisfy a long overdue customer need. In the case of Y-Go, those needs are simplicity, customization and adaptability in structured wiring networks.”
