The Automation Server allows homeowners to control household appliances and electronics such as security, HVAC and lighting systems. Media Center Edition 2005 allows people to see live and recorded television, movies, music, photos and radio through an interface. Because the server is a pre-integrated platform, builders and integrators can install their preferred brands of lighting, appliances and HVAC controls.
