Peter P. Giacalone, executive vice president of SafetyCare, Hackensack, N.J., will conduct a seminar about how technology can enhance your bottom line at ISC West 2006 conference, Las Vegas. His hour-long session, which will take place at 1 p.m. on April 6, is titled, “Central Station Technologies for Service & Profit.”

“I will be explaining the value of using certain central station technologies as a part of a dealer’s sales strategy,” Giacalone said.

“My session will take into consideration everything from certain types of monitoring devices to alternate means of communications to using two-way audio verification in an effort to reduce false alarms and bring the central station into the home as a tangible element of protection,” he said.

Giacalone also will discuss remote video as a use in verification. Chairman of the Security Industry Association Audio Verification Standards Committee and Central Station Alarm Association’s Audio Verification Operations Standards Committee, Giacalone is licensed and certified for alarm contracting/monitoring in Florida, Tennessee, Utah and Texas.
