The Access Easy Controller (AEC) from Bosch Security Systems is a Web-based system that features an embedded intelligence design that does not require any special software. Instead, the AEC uses standard browsers and works on any operating system, including Mac and Windows. It is a network-ready system that connects to any TCP/IP network via an Ethernet port and operates over any Ethernet network. Remote connection can also be established with a standard dial-up serial modem. Its features include log-on access rights, which protects all user IDs and passwords with security encryption allowing access into the AEC to monitor, control, and manage the system parameters, transaction records and activities; privacy masking and sector blanking; and Internet e-mail and Short Message Service support.
