Wayne Alarm Systems appointed Jeffrey Kahn as the company’s new COO, general manager. Kahn has extensive knowledge and understanding of sales and general management and 25 years of experience in the security alarm business.


Midstate Security of Grandville, Mich., appointed Kent Rice and Lewis Stallworth as the company’s newest security consultants. Rice combines more than 23 years of experience in sales, management, and design with extensive knowledge in residential and commercial security systems. Rice’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, access control systems, surveillance systems and installation techniques. Stallworth brings a wealth of experience in business-to-business sales to Midstate. His years of retail sales and management are enhanced by his skills in technical sales and computer science.


Honeywell appointed Walter Oakden as systems sales manager for the Honeywell Integrated Security (HIS) channel. In this role, Walter focuses on growing sales of Honeywell’s integrated security solutions through the HIS integrator channel for the Southeastern region of the United States. Walter has more than 20 years of strategic business development experience.
 


Protection 1 appointed Keith Moreman as area vice president for national accounts on the West Coast. “Keith brings with him a thorough understanding of many facets of the security business,” said Protection 1 senior vice president of sales, Bobby Dale. “His extensive management experience and industry knowledge will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow in this area.”
 


The Protection Bureau, Exton, Pa., welcomed Marc Petrucelli as sales manager. Petrucelli specializes in developing new client relationships, sales and expanding market share. He has more than 25 years of experience with a solid track record of initiating, developing and growing security integration companies in complex and diverse corporate environments.
 


Neil Atha joined Atronic Alarms Inc. in Lenexa, Kansas as vice president. Neil graduated from SMU in Dallas in 2007 with a degree in Economics with an emphasis in Financial Applications. He joins Atronic having worked three years as a regional account manager for a national security integrator.
 


AMAG Technology, Torrance, Calif., welcomed Matt Vellek as its new central north regional sales manager. Vellek supports existing Symmetry™ authorized resellers with sales initiatives in Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
 


Protection 1, Romeoville, Ill., appointed Alicia Scheffler to the new position of director of organizational development and training. Alicia oversees the company’s training programs. She has 15 years of training and organizational development experience.
