Interlogix expands its video surveillance line to include IP and megapixel cameras that are PSIA and ONVIF compliant. These TruVision IP open-standards cameras offer several resolutions that include VGA, 2.0, 3.0 and 5.0 megapixel models capable of transmitting up to 1080p in real-time, offering full HD capability. Additionally, the complete line is now available in three consistent form factors, with both vandal-resistant indoor and outdoor housings. These cameras help reduce installation time with standard PoE connections in every unit. Fifteen of the 17 new models also support a local SD card to provide up to 32 GB of onboard storage to provide a level of network redundancy in the case of connection failure. Video can be stored locally on the camera.
