Geko is an LED illuminators line designed and produced by Videotec, which provides lighting for standard definition and megapixel cameras, combined with high reliability. The light produced by the Geko illuminators line aims to brighten an entire scene evenly, eliminating hotspots and under-exposure for nighttime images and secure surveillance of an area. The Gekos provide night vision up to 140 m in an indoor or outdoor environment. The product range includes models with 850 nm and 940 nm wavelength with angles of 10 deg., 30 deg. or 60 deg. In addition, the products can operate in as low as -50 deg. C and up to 60 deg. C. A Geko consumes between 6 and 12 W to operate and has an average life expectancy of 11 years.
