Home Automation Inc. (HAI), a manufacturer of integrated automation and security products since 1985, announced that Snap-Link is now available in the Amazon Marketplace for download on a Kindle Fire.

By downloading the application developed by HAI, users gain the ability to control their entire HAI home or business from an affordable Kindle Fire device. The colorful hand-held interface is consistent in design to HAI's other award-winning mobile interfaces including Snap-Link for Android and Snap-Link Mobile for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch.

From their Kindle Fire e-reader, homeowners and business managers have the ability to view event logs, real-time video surveillance, and adjust anything under HAI's control including lights, access control, appliances, temperatures, window coverings, audio and more.  Users also have the ability to adjust programmed settings such as wake-up time and temperatures.  Multiple HAI systems are able to be accessed from within the same application, perfect for second homes, business owners, and property managers. Communications are secured by HAI's proven AES encryption.

Complete access to the HAI Omni or Lumina equipped property is available now via the Amazon Market for a one-time charge of $49.00.

“HAI now has interfaces available for the Kindle Fire, Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, remote controls from our Connectivity Partners, in addition to PC’s and in-home Touchscreens,” explained HAI president, Jay McLellan. “Adding the Kindle Fire into our arsenal of interfaces drives home HAI's concept of complete remote access via your favorite device.”
