Storage Appliances Protect Content
Pivot3’s vSTAC VDI, the latest member of its family of IP SAN storage appliances, provides compute functionality for running video management software, as well as shared storage resources for client operating system and VMS client software. By centralizing VMS clients, security directors can limit access to video, restrict unauthorized recording or transferrring of video content to external devices, and limit access to network applications.The vSTAC VDI feature 1 and 10 gigabit Ethernet network connections, 50 GB of solid-state flash acceleration and 12, 24 or 36 TB of storage. The appliances are compatible with existing vSTAC Watch and Data appliances, allowing customers to deploy mixed arrays based on their needs.
