Appliance Provides Management for all Video Servers

BCDVideo released its first site management appliance, the BCDV380V8-SMA, designed to allow users to run both access control and video management servers with a single 2U chassis. The appliance supports up to eight separate video security applications, allowing it to run Control and Command, analytics and other applications, which are all pre-loaded. Additionally, BCDVideo announced that its SMART control functionality is now standard on all BCD3008V8 series storage servers, including the new BCDV300V8-SMA. This provides smartphone access to video servers, remote console, and the ability to record and replay console activities either live or as a timed event.
