Simultaneous Ethernet & Fiber Port Connectivity
Pakedge Device & Software introduced its S18e 16-port gigabit Ethernet switch with two fiber ports to offer simultaneous gigabit Ethernet and fiber optic port connectivity. The S18e is an unmanaged plug-and-play switch. The S18e (the “e” stands for “express”) includes 16 10/100/1000 Mbps gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as two small form-factor pluggable, mini-GBIC fiber ports. Other features include rear cable installation, ultra-quiet fan, and automatic loop detection to prevent looping issues.
